Corporate campaigns are nothing other than extortion. The outside adversary attempts to coerce an employer into accepting an otherwise unacceptable proposition. With labor unions it may be a proposed agreement to allow the union representation rights of the employees without employer resistance.

Counter corporate campaigns are won in the hearts and minds of employees. It is easier to communicate with your employees than with your other stakeholders and partners.
Assessing the employer’s vulnerability to a corporate campaign requires an experienced perspective. A gap analysis, to assess the attitudes of an employer’s stakeholders, is a must. This examination will tell the target of the corporate campaign how it is viewed by the external and in some cases internal audiences.
Messaging formulation is more easily prepared once the target is aware of how it is perceived. One universally consistent message will be we are pro-employee not anti-union.
Counter corporate campaigns have two agendas; resolve building of the organization’s various stakeholders, which is aimed at eliminating the possibility of capitulation, and hardening the target to union organizing, which addresses the conventional concepts requisite to preserving The Union Free Privilege™.
