Counter Union Campaigns

"...Adams, Nash and Haskell has been retained to provide training to Reserve Bank management on how to communicate factual information to employees about the Board's Labor Policy and the representation election procedures."

- Alan Greenspan, Former Chairman
Federal Reserve Bank

Union campaigns are political processes. They are not lawsuits. After all, somebody’s going to be elected or chosen…you or the union. Employers often lose campaigns before they begin because of inexperienced advisors.  Our successful experience in hundreds of campaigns gives you the edge.

Choose a Campaign Concept That Fits Your Culture and Budget

Full Service  The decades-tested best approach for defeating a union. Fees, based on size of employee unit involved, normally run between $300 - $600 per employee.

Client Managed
We supply the plan, union intelligence, and prepared media (PowerPoint and stock video), coach your team through the process. You print literature and present to your employees. Fees $20,000 all inclusive.

Web-Based  A whole campaign done via internet bulletin board technology. Adapting your website to provide factual and compelling information. Fees $18,000 all inclusive.

Today's organizing landscape has changed.

Card-check agreements, neutrality, and the positive campaign pact are all beneficial to unions but disenfranchise employees of their rights. Unions do not want employees to vote knowledgably or otherwise.

Ultimately employees decide whether or not they will be represented. The employer’s responsibility is to make sure employees understand what that decision means. Well-informed employees will turn away from a union.
A candid issue assessment will tell the employer the type of campaign that needs to be conducted.  Properly trained and supported managers are the best rebuff to the union’s propaganda.
Letters and paper are ineffective campaign tools. Employees are more responsive to well-dressed messages that are visually dynamic.

ANH&S has successfully guided employers through the shallow waters of union representation campaigns for over three decades. Our clients’ win rate of 88% in over 500 National Labor Relations Board cases and 96% in more than 1,000 organizing drives is unmatched. Our campaigns have been reviewed in several NLRB regional offices and have always been found to be lawful. We know how to win clean.
